Grape variegation

GENERAL INFORMATION
The main damage to vineyards is caused by caterpillars in the spring, eating first the buds and then the young leaves, destroying the harvest before it begins to form. With strong reproduction of caterpillars, grape bushes can be completely left without foliage.

DIAGNOSTICS
The grape variegated moth is a moth of the variegated family; a pest of grapevines. The wingspan is 20-25 mm, shiny blue or blue-green.
The caterpillar is up to 20 mm long, dirty yellow on top with four rows of brown warts with orange hairs, and light on the bottom.

Some of the effective preparations are: Voliam, Flexi, Proclaim.
In case of strong infestation in the previous year - treatment with DNOC before the beginning of vegetation.
